Possibly. It really depends on whether the OOo developers have enough interest
in it or if there is an outside developer will to put the time and energy
into this complicated work.
I believe the grammar checker for English AbiWord uses is free
and is of some considerable quality.
If I had the energy I imagined I would have after I retired, I'd be
doing it.
Folks, getting old isn't for the faint hearted. There is a poem about that
