The first thing I always do when I sign up for a forum is to put myself on
Digest and not individual emails. I only receive 5 digest emails per day on
this forum. Much much more easy to control 5 emails vs. 450.

Subject: AW: AW: [users] unsubscribing not working for me

Thanks for giving a reasonable reply to this problem. I have been trying to
unsubscribe for almost two weeks now, but without success. The problem is just
getting worse, with up to 450 mails per day. At the end of each mail you have
the information to unsubscribe mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] I have done this time
without number, but to no avail. I am getting desperate. I really cannot
reply to each and every mail in this way. Regards Janet

What do you mean by "bounced"? What is the message you receive?

In general to unsubscribe from lists, you must unsubscribe from the SAME
address you subscribed under. In any case, you will have received a WELCOME
message when you first subscribed. Among the information there are
administrative commands for the list, including the following quote:

QUOTE
You can start a subscription for an alternate address,
for example "[EMAIL PROTECTED]", just add a hyphen and your address (with '='
instead of '@') after the command word: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

To stop subscription for this address, mail: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

In both cases, I'll send a confirmation message to that address. When you
receive it, simply reply to it to complete your subscription. UNQUOTE

Does this work as advertised? Do you get a message that you must reply to to

confirm that you want to be unsubscribed?
