Make a set of styles for each type of document.

There is nothing tht prevents one from having a default document that
contains the following set of styles:

i) APA Style [Follows APA Publication Manual guidelines correctly]
ii) MLA college student guidelines;
iii) MLA Professor guidelines. (And yes, this is different from the above.)
iv) Chicago Manual of Style guidelines;
v) US Government Office Style Guidelines;
vi) ORA Style Guidelines.  [ Hopefully they have corrected their OOo
template to correctly implement the styles that they use.]
vii) Etc.

Or create and save a template that only contains one of those styles,
and use it, when creating a document of that type.
