Hello ,
thanks for Your email.

I keep a spreadsheet with plenty sheets, add one almost every day.
therefor I have to
1. select current sheet
2. right click
3. select copy/move
- choice of file ( keep current one )
4. scroll to the bottom to select the place after the working sheet
5. mark to copy *
*6. click OK
7. select new sheet
8. right click
9. select rename
10. enter new name
11. click OK
*too many steps
*

*it could be like that:
*1. select current sheet
2. right click
3. select copy
- choice of file ( keep current one )
- select after current sheet ( could be set in OO-set up )
4. enter new name , default " copy of working sheet" ( with Enter to act as OK button )
- click OK, would used default sheetName "copy of working Sheet.
*so it could be 4 to 6 actions required, acc. Your architecture**.

I would be nice to have
*- extra only copy function - that You don't have to mark the field : copy

- following choices of inserting it
- - before current sheet
- - after current sheet
- - as 1st sheet
- - as last sheet
- - choice of field with pulldown

*- choice of specifying the new name of the sheet with the copy / move procedure ! this is the main thing
*
- OO - Setup - specify default copy to position ( first, before, after, last, select ) - OO - Setup - specify Return in name field is acting like the additionally OK button *

Berhard:

This is very good information. However, this is not the place to get things changed or features added.

To do this, open a new issue report and post the link to the issue here and get votes. ( http://openoffice.org -> "Register", then when you receive a confirmation email, "Login" and "File an issue" )
