know where i can find it on my system after its been installed? Please

X11 is considered a utility by OSX. Look in your Utilities folder in
your Applications folder. If it isn't there, you perhaps didn't install
it correctly. But as Andrew states, if you've properly installed it,
OOo will know how to open it without your knowledge (except in my case,
an X11 terminal is left open even after closing OOo and X11, which at
first puzzled me). So all you have to do is select OOo from your
applications folder. Or double click an OOo file or "Open With" using OOo.
Finally, beware that X11 is an application in itself, so you'll see an
X11 menu (like the typical OSX menus) then below it will be the OOo
menu. It's kinda like an application inside of an application
(actually, that's exactly what it is!).
