If you just want to create some simple macros and learn by example, I recommend the book of Andrew Pitonyak http://www.pitonyak.org/book/ or at least his free document (somewhere on the same site) and some visits to the OOo forum http://www.oooforum.org in particular the Macros and APIs as well as the code snippets. Of course if you know VBA you already know how to program in StarBasic although you might not have noticed it... Ah... don't forget to check out www.ooomacros.org. Good luck! Michele
