Personally
I would see how many customers would like to change to Open Office
I deal with several Historical Societies and other Businesses
and I am working towards having them switch to OO for
most of their Wordprocessing, spreadsheet and Database work
I now have over 50% that have switched, and more when they
see how much MS will charge them for the semi-manditory
upgrade to the new Online Office package. Since all the Trade
mags. state that we will need to completely retrain your employees
due to the major rearrange of most of the menu system (This came
Directly From M.S.) Saw figures of 40-80 hours of training will
be needed.
Would you rather get Open Office for free and do some training
or be required by MS to upgrade at bigs bucks? I take free.

Subject: [users] OpenOffice Base
Hello,
Is it possible to open file made in OpenOffice Base by programs like
Miscroosoft Access. Is there any solution for our customer (who dont
have Oppen Office) to read this *.odb format file? Or maybe it is
possible to save base in other file format (for example *.db)
Best Regards
Robert Noras
