The commandline you give does not resemble anything that is produced by installing the official release from www.openoffice.org. For that the property is soffice -writer %U where soffice is available from /usr/bin. I use FC4 and had to remove the RH release and replace it. -- PLEASE KEEP MESSAGES ON THE LIST.
