Hi,
The past periods I had to write some French letters. This needs a lot of
special characters like é, è, à etc. To select and insert these
characters through the special character dialog (insert -> special
character ....) gets very annoying and makes the work slow.
Does anyone know another way to include these characters, or is there a
way to automatically combine keystrokes (e.g. '+e becomes é) if I write
French?
The usual way for most western keyboards with a key for ´ and `
characters would be to just type ´ followed by e and the keyboard driver
of the OD should put a é in the text then.
Some keyboards have a special compose key that might be used for this.
