This is a very wild guess, but check that you haven't got "Edit - Changes - Record" turned on. Because if "Edit - Changes - Show" is also turned off you may not be aware of it, and it can make Writer behave in ways that appear a little strange after prolonged use, slowing Writer down considerably, and the symptoms can be similar to what you describe, if I recall correctly. If you find it turned on then you should probably go to "Edit - Changes - Accept or Reject" and click the "Accept All" button, or accept or reject each change individually. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "CPHennessy" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[email protected]>; "ANNECLAAR THOMASSON" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Saturday, April 15, 2006 11:04 AM > Subject: Re: [users] problem > > > > On Wed April 12 2006 16:04, + ANNECLAAR THOMASSON wrote: > >> Dear Open Office > >> > >> One of my writer files gets continually stuck.
