[users] Specific User Instruction Texts, Manuals Etc.

As strictly a user, are there manuals available for each module as to the 
fuctions within the program and how to use or is there only a help function on 
the net download version? Or are the programs so similiar to Microsoft office 
and others that I don't need instructions manuals?
