I suggested two different functions, which in my mind should be kept separate. 1. Change the data, or if you like, the content; this is an editing function and should be under edit (or the context menu) for fixing mistyping or automatic data collection. 2. Change the effect (like italics), or of you like, the presentation; this is part of the styles system, and does not change the underlying data, for correctly formatting titles and headings. These are _different_ things, and I never suggested they should be accessible in the same way, nor that they should be used for the same purpose.
