Have a look at tools > options > load/save > Microsoft Office. Are all these conversion box's ticked (esp. the one for mathtype <> OOO.math ??

Hello I really like OpenOffice that I have used now for one year. Especially I find the equation editor very convenient. However when I convert my document in .doc format and I try to open it with Word, the equations are very bad, with some parts missing. In the same manner I can't edit equations created by word with OpenOffice. Is there a way to convert equations properly ?
