I am using version 2.0.2 on Windows, Linux and Mac OSX (the UB alpha version) on all three platforms the spell checker in Writer does not work at all times. I am yet to figure out why this is happening, as it works for some of my .odt and .doc documents, but not others.
By broken, I mean that even though it is selected to be enabled the squigly red underline never appears and when I manually run the spelling check it reports no spelling mistakes. This is even when there is blatant spelling mistakes in the document. I am sure I have it enabled correctly, as the options look correct, and I never changed anything from default values in the first place. As I said, I've installed OOo 2.0.2 on many systems on all major operating systems and I get the same problem. Am I missing something, or is this a known bug?
