You have not given us the specific steps you used to try to change the font color on a slide. I do not have this problem. So without knowing what you did step by step, I can not be of any help. An example of changed font colors is found in this presentation: http://www.delewis.com/OOo/Simple_Presentation.odp. I do have one question. Did you select the word or words whose font color you wanted to change before trying to change them?
