I have XP Home, OO 2.02 and I do not see any reference to Lotus WordPro when
I click File-> Open-> Files of type:

The only Lotus option that I see is Lotus 1-2-3 (*.wk1,*.wks,*.123)

"Lotus WordPro".

What happens when you select this filter and open a file ?
What were you expecting ?

Without more details it is hard to help you.
