You are referring to a signature of mine, which I attach to the replies
I give to people I can identify as not being subscribed to the mailing
list. If you check, you will see these replies are always cc'd to the
original poster. The purpose of the signature is to assist these people
in understanding where the reply is coming from and offer a pointer to
sources which may help them use OOo.

You should keep in mind that this _IS_ a mailing list and the fact that
it can be accessed through a newsreader is something of a by-product.
So it is not surprising, that mailing list posts do not always read the
same way in a newsreader, as they would in their intended target.

I don't know the technical detail of how posts sent to a news sever
reach this list, but your post showed up on the list as coming from a
subscribed list member. The header of moderated posts include a line
which reads "Delivered-To: moderator for [email protected]".

I hope this assists you in understanding the cause of your confusion.

Dave
