First of all, you need to increase the amount of RAM. 128MB would
help, and 256 MB would be nice if this is possible. I have a laptop that
runs OOo 1.1.4 and 2.0.2 with 160 MB RAM. I would not recommend anything
less than 128.
To open the downloaded file with the extension .zip, you need to unzip
it. If you have winzip on your computer use it. Otherwise, go to
www.7zip.com to download 7zip. (It is a free download.) Use 7zip to unzip
the file, and write down where the files are extracted to. Enter that
folder and double click setup.exe. That should begin the installation
process.
