Question
1) how much RAM memory do you have and how many programs
are running at the same time
2) When was the last time you checked your hard drive for
file fragmentation.
I have a computer with the same CPU speed
but I have found that if I do not de-frag my hard drive(s) (20 gig and 40
gig)
every week, it slows everything down.
Read/Write problems I have found is either from having not enough
RAM memory for usage, or a large percentage of file fragmentation.
