This is a Yahoo problem, not an Writer issue. While not exactly the situation I was guessing at in my previous message, everything I said there holds true in this situation, ie. your recipient is unable or (in this case) unwilling to handle your document in the Open Document ISO standard format. The solution is as stated previously.
