Here's what happens:
I put the cursor in the spinner box.
If I try to delete the number that shows, it pops right back.
If I enter the page number I want after the number that shows (eg, '1'
shows and I enter '4'), it goes immediately to page 14 without giving a
chance to delete the '1'.
If I enter the desired page number before the number that shows ('3'
shows and I enter '4'), I have about a split second to delete the '3'.
If I'm successful, it goes to page 4; otherwise it tries to go to page
34.
Looks to me like a flaw in the spinner widget. Is there another one
available that could be plugged into future releases?
Also, there does not seem to be a way to tab or otherwise keyboard the
cursor into the spinner box. One can only do it with the mouse click.
