Is there any way to configure OOo to open an HTML link with a specific
web browser? More importantly, can command line parameters be added to
the browser calling routine? (eg. "opera -newpage")

It is not a problem to have links opened in my system default browser.
However, the lack of command line options is, because I use Opera,
frequently with many tabs or windows open and links from Writer simply
overwrite the contents of whichever tab/window happens to have the focus
at the time. If I remember, I workaround this by opening a blank tab or
window in Opera, before switching back to select the link in Writer, but
I often forget and waste a lot of time back-tracking to find the
overwritten url.

If this option doesn't exist I will put in a RFE, unless there is
already an issue that I missed, in which case, if someone can point me
to it and I will add my vote.

TIA
