I read the help files, bought the Writer book from Lulu.com,
downloaded the files from various openoffice.org locations and got
familiar with the procedure.
Once you get familiar with the procedure, it becomes easy. I use the
process daily for various issues. I print SIM labels from CSV files
sent to me by
the order entry department, I print mailing labels for paychecks,
outgoing invoices, and newsletters.. Personalized letters to
potential clients, and personalized
thank you's to existing customers. OpenOffice.org's procedure is so
much simpler and makes so much more sense than Microsofts' procedure
it's just silly...
spend a little time reading up and you'll be amazed how simple the
process is....
