I'm no expert on desktop search tools, but I have used several for Windows, including google and copernic, and Yahoo Desktop Search seems far better than any other free one I've tried. With the optional extensions it successfully and speedily searches within every kind of document I use, including OOo, MSOffice and PDF. I haven't noticed its indexing to be a drag on my computers, one of which is a PII 400. I highly recommend it. Does anyone have any reason not to like it? Thanks.
