I see. To actually move the sections is preferable, and the Navigator function seems to be working now. Not sure what went wrong the first time; when it did finally move sections only the Heading line moved, not the subordinate text. Maybe it was an style index number setting for body text. I since fiddled with that, and I can't be sure. As long as the only way to move sections is via the Promote function, I can see why alphabetization of sections isn't available. As things go, though, that's a relatively minor limitation.
