We're currently interested in migrating from MS Office XP Excel to Openoffice
v2 Calc.
We've been doing some tests, and we're concerned on the time it takes to load
big Excel files (*.xls). Our current spreadsheets contain several functions,
macros, sheets, and so on. In our tests, we've found out that some of our
documents take up to 20 minutes to load. We've searched in several forums,
how-to's and documentations, but haven't found a specific way to speed up the
loading process. We would like to know if there is a way of achieving a faster
performance.
