Is there anyway to alpha sort the "load" filter selections either by
program or file extention?
Example: if you attempt to load a file that
OOo isn't familiar with it brings up a Filter Selection window with
choices for all OOo filters. The problem is that the filter selection
starts with:
OpenOffice.org 1.0 Text Document,
next is: PSD - Adobe Photoshop
next is: Web Page Query (OpenOffice.org Calc)
next is: StarWriter 4.0
etc.
The result is that you end up having to sometimes scroll the entire list
to find the filter you are looking for.
And speaking of filters; are there any plans to eventually support MS
Publisher and/or Adobe PageMaker files? [Yes I know you can export those
to something else and import into Writer, but it would be a significant
boost to OOo if the program could do this directly]
