Your not wrong. Go to tools > options > memory .. Look for the tick box next to 'openoffice quickstarter'.. You'll want to make sure that you load OOo during system start up...

Running 2.0 on Windows XP. If I recall correctly when I had first installed it I was prompted to set something so the program would start faster. I turned it off initially and now would like to turn it back on but can't find where to do that. Am I wrong about this? Jim
