Did you try the md5sums? This is very important to check if your
download is correct.
I do not think regedit is of help here.

Did you check your download to see if it is good or if it is corrupted?
The install will fail with a corrupt download give errors like the one
you listed.
You can find information here to do a MD5SUM on your downloaded file.

If it is corrupted, you might want to try a download manager to help
with the large download. See near the bottom on this page:
