I am using version 2.0. of OpenOffice.org. My problem is :
I want to export my OOo-database to OOo-Calc.
I can“t copy my datas to OOo-Calc.
What must I do?
If you have registered your database as a datasource in OOo already,
then you can literally drag entire tables into Calc.
If your database is not registered, go to Tools - Options - OpenOffice
Base - Databases and click the New button to add your .odb file.
Open Calc and click on the Data Sources button in the Standard (Main)
toolbar, or do it via the View - Data Sources menu option.
If your database is registered it will be listed in the left-hand tree
view. Navigate the tree to a table in your database and select it. It
will be displayed in the grid view. Now simply click-drag the top-left
corner box in the grid's row-column headers (not the top-left cell) to
the spreadsheet.
Multiselecting rows then dragging the selection to the spreadsheet also
works. But selecting a column and dragging it creates a form entry box
for that column - it doesn't copy the column data.
