I am using OpenOffice 2.0.2 with Fedora. When I launch any OpenOffice

be the problem.

Balwant:

Two things come to mind that you can try:

1. A pre-launcher. I believe this is one for gnome and one for kde (or just one for both?), but maybe you can search for that and how to set it up.

2. Do you have java connected? We didn't have a good java, and when OOo launched, it spent tons of time looking for it before starting up. When I turned off "use java" under Tools->Options|Java, OOo started very fast.

I hope one of these two will help. If not, reply back and see if anyone else has any ideas.
