There is a reason why I asked about the text box of the type "Click to
add an outline". The styles that affect the text in these type text boxes
is found in the Formating and Styles Window (F11), and they are the
Presentation Styles (second icon from the left). These styles can be
modified, but new styles can NOT be added to the Presentation Styles.
If you create a text box of your own, you can then establish its style
in the Graphics Style section (left icon). You can only have one style per
text box. In the Graphics Style section, you can create new styles as well
as modify those already there.
You might want to check the User's Guide or the Getting Started Guide
for more information on what you can do with Impress.
