How does one make a Manual Line Break please?
In Writer this is done by typing Shift+Enter. However, in a Calc cell you must use Ctrl+Enter since here Shift+Enter is used exit edit mode without moving to the next cell. Maybe this is for cmpatibility with Excel.

By the way, does anyone know what Ctrl+Shift+Enter does in a Calc cell? In OOo2.0.2 and 2.0.3, if I type anything and then Ctrl+Shift+Enter, it leaves edit mode and whatever I have entered is surrounded by {} braces. When I check to see which function that key combination is bound to, there is no function listed.

That combo turns the formula into an Array Formula. Check the OO help on Array Functions for more details, but basically (from the help):

"A formula in which the individual values in a cell range are evaluated is referred to as an array formula. The difference between an array formula and other formulae is that the array formula deals with several values simultaneously instead of just one."

Hope this helps
