Brigitta,
I would suggest that if you are wanting to download the newest
version of OpenOffice.org (OOo) you should first download and install a
download manager that will resume. It might take some time... but it
will eventually download. You might also be able to purchase the program
on CD, I don't think they charge very much. Also, you might consider
uninstalling and reinstalling OOo.
Note: You might want to let us know what version of OOo you are using
and how you are trying to open the program.
