Hi John, The file format for OpenOffice.org has already been ratified by the OASIS standardization body and is in the process of final acceptance by the ISO standards body. The specification of the file format can be found at http://xml.openoffice.org -> "OASIS OpenDocument file format". Also note that since there is no English grammar checker built into OpenOffice.org your product would be very welcome. When the product is available please notify this mailing list as I am sure that you will find several customers here. Also note that if you want to integrate this product into OpenOffice.org you may have a much bigger market for your project.
