Hi John

I understand there have been some problems with the Fedora port of OOo,
but there should be a utility in the ~install/program/ directory called
spadmin. If you run that as root it should enable connection to your
printer.

I run a Canon BJC-4200 on Mandriva with no problems, but usually have to
run spadmin to enable fonts with each new install/upgrade.
