Have a look at the "Math" module. If you want just to write the formula
(and not compute it), you can do this from writer. I assume, that you're
using the German version of OOo? So please go to the menu Einfügen >
Objekt > Formel (Insert > Object > Formula) and type your formula.
the formula, you insert, should contain the following:
bar x {x1, x2, ... xn}
