Well, I trust you installed correctly. Then, with your insertion point
(the little blinking vertical bar, usually) in the paragraph you want to
reformat, pick Format Paragraph etc. If there are no sub-menus, then
you may have a broken install. For some simple things, a right-click in
the region in question brings up a menu of "likely suspects" of which
line-spacing is one.
