Susan, You asked this yesterday and got answers so I am curious why you felt the need to ask again? In any case, I believe that Base is part of the Mac port of OOo. You can confirm this by posting a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and monitoring this list for answers. Since you have asked twice, I will tell you that you need a good JRE installed for Base to work and, this you can test by using File > New > Database to get started. You can also check the available JRE by using Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org > Java which will grind for a bit and report what is recognized. Do pick up http://documentation.openoffice.org/setup_guide2/2.x/en/SETUP_GUIDE.pdf for the latest MacOS section and maybe the User Guide from http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/OOo2.x/user_guide2_draft.pdf so you have references for your students. -- PLEASE KEEP MESSAGES ON THE LIST.
