Virgil, Let's get you subscribed. Point your browser to http://www.openoffice.org/mail_list.html You will see a bunch of lists. Pick the one you want, say, users so you can ask questions. Choose between Normal and Digest to suit yourself. Click that link. A new mail message window should appear on your desktop and you simply send it. Do watch for the confirmation message to which you must reply. As I wrote the above, I got the sneaking suspicion that what you are talking about is really registering as an OpenOffice.org user. Yes there are some questions that need answers and a confirmation message that requires a reply but by registering you can use Issue Tracker, join projects and participate in many other ways.
