Hi-- Tonight I upgraded my Ubuntu install from 5.10 to the latest 6.06. Now my OOo2.02 install seems to be gone.
It is not on the menu under Office. When I click an .odt file it tries to open it with file-roller. When I right click and choose open with, it says it cannot find ooffice2. This is a production environment and I need to use OOo Writer to get my work done. I went to /opt/openoffice.org2 and tried to run swriter, but it says it cannot find necessary files and so refuses to start up. Using Synaptic and apt-get to reinstall produces no changes--it clearly thinks OOo is installed. Any ideas? Thanks! :-Doug. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
