This gave me some problems when I first started using Open Office.
Here's the trick. Open a blank text document. Then choose insert on
the menu at the top and then half way down click on envelope. It now
brings up the envelope menu. Fill out that return address and the
address where it is going, but don't print yet. Choose the 3rd tab over
that say printer. Here is where you choose how you feed the envelopes
into the printer. For most ink jet printers, you will need to choose
the 4th printer where it shows the envelope being fed into the left side
of the printer. Don't ask me why, but when you choose that one and feed
the envelope in on the right hand side of the printer, everything comes
out fine. Give that a try and see if it works for you.
