Hey, you cheated. http://download.openoffice.org/2.0.3/ is

No I don't think he cheated. The green "Get openoffice.org"
button on the OOo home page takes you to:
http://download.openoffice.org/2.0.3/index.html From there you
just select your os and the download starts. I guess there is
some IP address detection or automatic mirror allocation going
on.
I said "cheated" facetiously because when I first clicked on the
link, I was taken to the usual download page. When I went back
later, it took me to a different, less informative, page.
Are these without JRE?
The Windows version doesn't appear to include JRE and this
seems to be indicated in the installation instructions. I
think we are going to return to the old day's with this list
being flooded with "What's JRE?" and "Where do I get JRE"
questions ;)
Is thee a list of features for which Java is required?
The Installation instructions don't say anything about
upgrading from an older version.
A straight upgrade of the Windows version should not create
any problems, but there can be a couple of minor issues with
the Linux RPM upgrade under some circumstances.
So I can just install it over the top of 2.0.2?
