I haven't noticed that you had an answer so I will try to give you some
direction.
1. First I suggest that you create an issue in Issue Tracker and
attach the strace to it. If you have no account, Click on the my
pages tab on http://www.openoffice.org/ and register. After
completing the registration process, log in and file the issue
via My Pages.
2. Did you follow the directions in the SETUP GUIDE at
http://documentation.openoffice.org/setup_guide2/index.html If
you are most comfortable in German use that one.
3. If none of the above help, try removing the existing version and
try the appropriate deb from
ftp://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/680/2.0.3-RC7
