Simple answer is yes - several. Getting info on them is the hard
part. I will have to reply for using Mandriva 10.0 to 2006 and
KDE as a base. The most common/heavy duty is "HylaFax", I can't
go much past the name - Google it. "eFax" is another program -
Note: there is a company of that name for commercially
sending/receiving faxes - that is not what I am referring to.
The program may be on your installation disks.
The most light weight is a KDE frontend called "kdeprintfax"
used for sending faxes only (for use with either HylaFax or
eFax) - the file to be sent must be in the "*.ps" format
generated in Linux (CUPS) by printing with the "print to file"
activated. Kfax - is a program for reading *.tiff-f (g3)(fax)
files. Both are in the KDE Section.
Another one that is a little heavier duty is "eFax-GTK", a
standalone front end that uses "eFax" and is suitable for
send/receiving or monitoring a fax line. I download "eFax-GTK"
from the "contrib" board of the Mandriva club.

Best of luck to you!
