The format does not specify the macro language; in other words, it is
completely unrelated.
I can not comment on constructs existing in a Word document that are not
representable in the OpenDocument standard. I would guess, however, that
it is possible to represent something in either standard that is not
representable in the other if for no other reason than that the host
program (MS Word or OOo) does not support it.
