Do you have a form navigation bar visible anywhere? If you are connected to your database and it is displaying records then there should be a navigation toolbar. There you should find several filter buttons, one of which is a form-based filter. Clicking it blanks out your form so that you can enter text or values that you want to match against. You can also insert query expressions, for example, "> 10 and < 20" for number fields, and "like Jo*" for text fields, etc. The online Help provides a description of filtering and these expressions. Have a look starting under "Filtering", and "Filter conditions - in queries" in the Help Index tab.

PS.
SHOUTING only reduces the interest people have in responding to you and is considered offensive, apart from the actual message content, and ranting just obscures your question or message. It can be either entertaining or dead-boring to others. There are plenty of places where you can discuss and/or request changes to the software, where you will find passion to match yours and a willingness to direct it back at you.
