Greetings, I am using Open Office 2.0 on FC5 and I want to import a text file to Calc (maybe to Base later).
First I start Calc. Then I select File>Open. I get a dialog box entitled Open. In it I select the file I want and choose Text CSV for file type. In fact it does not have commas in it but this is what I was told to select. Instead of giving me the dialog box to describe the delimiters, etc. - It gives me an ASCII dialog box to select character set, font and language. Then the file is redirected to open in Writer. What am I doing wrong?
