I have sun jdk 1.5.07 and OO 2.0.3 on fc5 x86
When I try to assign a key to a macro I get an error "the selected jre
is defective" on selecting the category Openoffice macros in the
customize dialog
selecting "OK" does not cause the error dilaog to close
the classpath dialog lists the current jre
My java seems to run ok with java apps
I got this to work, sort of.
After repeated cliking on ok button in the defective jre message dialog
dialog, trying to close thedialog and parent window, the dialog finally
went away, leaving the macro category window pen with the macros listed.
I was able to assign the macro to a key and run it successfully
There is something wrong with the java installation detection code and
the error message dialog code
It is not a problem for me anymore, but will probably bea problem for
somebody else
