If you are using both a spreadsheet and a database in OpenOffice.org
(OOo) to do this, you might run into problems. The spreadsheet can update the
database, but you can NOT use the database to update the spreadsheet.
In any case, I would recommend getting the latest version of OOo to do
this. (version 2.0.3) Its database section (Base) allows you to link fields
from different tables.
As far as information on how to use OOo, check out this web page:
http://documentation.openoffice.org. There are links to User's Guides,
tutorials, etc. on this page. If you do get OOo 2.0.3, look for the Getting
Started Guide available at:
http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/oooauthors2/index.html.
Specifically, get the "Getting Started with Base".
